Resources for Abstract Writing

The IAU CAPjournal, in collaboration with the CAP 2022 SOC, organized an Abstract Writing Workshop in support of the hybrid Communicating Astronomy to the Public (CAP) Conference. During the workshop, the organizers shared some common types of abstracts, do’s and don’t’s in abstract writing, reviewed the expectations from the conference Scientific Organizing Committee, and gave participants a chance to brainstorm ideas with others working on similar projects.

The SOC is offering English language editing support to abstract applicants who may need it.
