Democratising Astronomy Communication in the era of accessible Artificial Intelligence

The Communicating Astronomy with the Public – 2026 (CAP2026) conference organisers welcome everyone to Yerevan, Armenia during May 25-29, 2026. The event will be hosted in partnership by the Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory, the Armenian Astronomical Society and the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Commission C2 — Communicating Astronomy with the Public (CAP) and the IAU Office for Astronomy Outreach.

  • CAP2028 Hosting Bids Invited
    Bids are invited to host the 2028 edition of Communicating Astronomy with the Public Conference. Deadline to submit the Letter of Intent is 20 October, 2025. More details here…
  • CAP2026 Details Announced
    Registration and Abstract submissions for CAP conference 2024 are open. It will be held in hybrid mode from during 23 – 28 June, 2024, at Cité de l’espace, Toulouse, France, in-person and online.
  • CAP2026 Venue Announced
    The 2026 CAP conference will be held during 25 to 29 May 2026, in the city of Yerevan, Armenia, in-person and online.
