Our Mission
To regularly convene producers of astronomical information, public information officers, and mediators worldwide for the interchange of ideas and practices.
We plan and support international conferences that help connect those interested in astronomy communication from across different regions of the world.
Our Deliverables
An international conference at least every 2 years (including sessions during IAU General Assemblies, where applicable).
Starting from 2005, till now the group has conducted nine conferences at venues across the world, including in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, with the latest one being organised in Australia. Its long history and increasing popularity prove that there is a need for such an event.
