Travel and Visa Information
Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport (EVN) is located approximately 12 km west of Yerevan city center and serves as the main international gateway to Armenia. The airport is easily accessible by taxi, private transfer, and public transportation, with travel time to the city center typically taking 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Several flights from European cities are available:
- Aegean from Athens, Greece
- Air France from Paris, France
- Austrian Airlines from Vienna, Austria
- Brussels Airlines from Brussels, Belgium
- LOT from Warsaw, Poland
- Lufthansa from Frankfurt, Germany
- Pegasus Airlines from Istanbul, Turkey
- Wizzair from Vienna (Austria), Budapest (Hungary), Vilnius (Lithuania), several cities of Italy, etc.
Some airlines collaborate with the Armenian FlyOne company to accomplish flights from European airports.
As well as you can reach Yerevan through connecting flights.
Armenia has a visa regime favourable for visitors from a great many countries. In many cases, visas are either completely unneeded or can be obtained via a very simple procedure.
