Submissions
Let us know details about the work that you want to showcase at the conference via oral presentations or posters. You may also propose a relevant demonstration, workshop or panel discussion based on the conference themes. Please do go through the descriptions of the sub-topics to ensure that your submission is relevant and effective for the conference.
In order to submit abstracts or apply for IAU travel grants , you will need to use the same email ID that you registered with while filling up the pre-registration form.
Please Note:
- All titles, abstracts etc. are to be submitted in English.
- Abstract Submission deadline is extended till 15 November, 2025, 23:59 UTC.
Abstracts will be scored based on the following:
- Relevance to CAP conference
(purely education-oriented contributions are more suitable for the Shaw-IAU workshop on astronomy for education) - Problem addressed
- Activities conducted
- Innovation
- Results or impact
- Three things that participants will learn from the submission
IAU Travel Grant Application
There is a limited number of travel grants provided by the IAU to support those for whom only limited means of support are available, e.g., colleagues from economically less privileged countries and young scientists/professional communicators.
All grant applicants should first register and submit their oral/poster/demo/workshop/panel contribution before this travel grant application (a grant application without prior abstract submission will NOT be considered).
Note: Grant Application deadline is extended till 15 November, 2025, 23:59 UTC.
Applications will be scored based on the:
- relevance to CAP conference
- motivation / experience of the applicant
- economic condition
